First of all, semiconductors are not the whole thing. That's why there is no circuit symbol for a semi conductor. It has to be included in some functional arrangement which then is given a symbol. For example, the easiest way of using a semiconductor is a diode.

As semiconductors like to work more more collectively than other components, there are several devices which use two or even up to some millions of semiconductors in one chassis in order to perform more complicated actions.
