Do you know the song: "It never rains in southern California" ? So why don't we put solar cells over the whole country? There is one big problem we have to face in the next few years: Sources of energy. One source is well known in the world, often used and then thrown away when it's empty: The battery. It consists of several energy cells that are connected in rows. Like soldiers. A little army of power. If the army has lost its power, it gets thrown away. But: who in the world would throw a real army of soldiers? Nobody. That is why there are some batteries that can be recharged. But don't worry. The symbol for both kinds of batteries are the same. So you don't have to care about that slight difference when drawing a circuit.
Don't ask what your environment has done for you. Do something for environmental protection. Use rechargeable batteries when possible.
